Rent collection

Rent collection that doesn't need a follow-up call

Invoices go out on each tenant's cycle. They arrive on WhatsApp. Tenants pay from their UPI app with the amount already filled in. You see the payment proof and UTR, approve it, and the invoice is closed.

How it works

From invoice to paid, without chasing

  1. 1

    Invoice is created

Automatically, on each tenant's own cycle — monthly, weekly or custom.

  2. 2

    Sent on WhatsApp

The tenant gets the bill with a Pay button.

  3. 3

    Tenant pays

Their UPI app opens with the amount filled in — or bank or cash.

  4. 4

    You approve

Check the screenshot and UTR, tap Approve. The tenant gets a confirmation.

Handles the messy parts too

Partial payments, discounts and late fees are all handled — and every change stays on the record.

  • Pro-rated first and last bill
  • Grace period and an optional late fee
  • GST support — one rate per property, GSTIN on the invoice
  • Credit and debit notes instead of silent edits
  • Payment goes to your UPI, bank or cash account
  • Daily WhatsApp reminders above a minimum you set, or one tap to send now
  • Payments applied to the oldest dues automatically
  • A running statement per tenant that never resets

What it doesn’t do (yet)

  • Tenant auto-debit or card payments — tenants pay to your account and you approve each payment.

FAQ

Rent questions

How do tenants pay?

They open the app and tap Pay. Their UPI app opens with the amount already filled in (or they use your bank details or pay cash). They upload the screenshot and UTR, and you approve it with one tap.

Is there a payment gateway or a fee on rent?

No. Rent goes straight to your own UPI, bank or cash account — PG Nexon doesn't process it or hold it. That also means you approve each payment yourself; auto-debit isn't available yet.

Will tenants get reminders?

Yes. Once you set a minimum amount for a property, a WhatsApp reminder goes out every day to tenants whose pending balance is above it. You can also send one yourself with a tap.

What about late payments?

Set a grace period and, if you want one, a late fee — fixed or a percentage, with a cap. It's added as a separate invoice so the original bill stays clean.

Can I charge GST?

You can set one GST rate per property, and your GSTIN appears on the invoice. Check the right rate for your PG with your CA.
