Electricity billing

Electricity bills without the argument

Map a meter to each room. PG Nexon splits the units among the people who were in the room and puts each person's share on their invoice — with the units, rate and reading dates shown.

How it works

How a room's bill is split

  1. 1

Map a meter to the room

    Set your rate per unit.

  2. 2

    Enter readings

When you read the meter — and every time someone moves in or out.

  3. 3

    Shares on each invoice

Units, rate and reading dates, so tenants can check the maths.

An example: Room 101 in October

Rohan is in the room all month. Neha joins on the 15th, and a reading is taken when she moves in.

  • 1–15 Oct: 80 units, Rohan alone → Rohan pays all 80.
  • 15–31 Oct: 100 units, two people → 50 each.
  • At ₹10 a unit: Rohan’s invoice shows ₹1,300, Neha’s shows ₹500. Nobody pays for days they weren’t there.

Built for shared rooms

  • One meter per room
  • Readings captured at move-in and move-out
  • Final reading included in the move-out settlement
  • Import existing meters from Excel

What it doesn’t do (yet)

  • Uses a fixed rate per unit — slab tariffs aren't supported.
  • Units are split equally among the people in the room at each closing reading.
