1. Decide the five numbers you need every night
If you can read these in two minutes, you will actually read them. A long report gets ignored.
- Beds occupied versus vacant
- Payments received today
- What is pending
- Open complaints
- Anything unusual: a refund, a transfer, a cancelled invoice
2. Give each person only the access their job needs
Reception needs visitors, accounts needs payments, a manager needs tenants and complaints. Keep cash balances and payment accounts with yourself. The same person may deserve different access at different properties.
3. Keep a trail of who did what
When something looks wrong, you want to see who changed it and when, not ask around. An activity log that only you can open removes most 'I didn't touch it' conversations.
4. Compare branches, not just look at them
With more than one property, compare occupancy, collection, pending bills and complaints side by side. The branch that looks fine alone often looks weak next to the others.
5. Visit on purpose
Remote does not mean absent. Visit with a short checklist: empty rooms, meter readings, the kitchen, the complaint board. Use your numbers to decide where to look.
How PG Nexon supports this
At 10 pm PG Nexon sends the owner, and staff you choose, a WhatsApp summary of each property: beds, payments received today, what's pending and open complaints. You set roles per property, cash view and payment accounts are owner-only, and an owner-only activity trail shows who did what. A branch comparison on the dashboard shows occupancy, revenue, pending and complaints with a health score for each property.
